Well I own to Glocks and I have yet to have a negligent discharge. Maybe because that's all I own I always remember rule #2.

I agree. It was a mistake on my part.
I'm too used to the intrinsic safety of the 1911. I was going to strip the gun, didn't check the chamber, and "decocked" it.
