Jr released McFarland from driving the 88 because he wasn't passionate enough to win, Robby and Jr showed what passion to win is today!!

I think we just saw proof that there was nothing wrong with the #88 car, except the driver.

Actually, I was really hoping that Robby G would win that race! Somebody made the comment, "Well, YOU hired him to drive it!" and drive it he did. Lol

I don't blame Jr at all. What did Flipper expect Jr to do? He had to know, after (and Flipper was funny about it, "Yea, we broke something - traction!") losing it, that Jr would have a good head of steam coming off the corner.

I remember a certain Bud Shootout when Jr gave another car a push like that. :-)

Jr is not a wreckless driver. Did you see the after race interview when he said, "I'm sure the fans are going to be divided over this one" ?

Good by me. I'm sure Jr will be relieved to know that! Lol

The race was pretty much caution filled and those last laps made it worth the price of admission.

I think Carl is going to be sorry he hit the drivers side door of the 8 like he did. We'll find out, maybe even before tomorrow. He does start in the row behind Jr tomorrow, I hope he's settled down by then.

My tagline is what Jr said in VL to ESPN.

I too was rooting for Robby!!
