Their opinions mean nothing to me. They're a-c-t-o-r-s, for God's sake. They make their livings pretending.

I must admit I'm more than a little skeptical about their motives and can't help but wonder if this is an attempt at damage control. It seems like everything they make today is either lowest-common-denominator cultural drivel or loaded with messages to turn our young people into good little Marxists. I'm sitting here watching The Third Man on TCM and I know in my gut that they'll never make anything like this again -- it's beyond them. It's not just that they've seen their best days, it's that everyone knows it.
