Who cares about the outrage, the people that are going to be outraged are the enemy. That's what would have happened once upon a time, back when we understood good and evil, right and wrong and made no excuses for our enemies.

Go look up what the original "Assassins" were. Islam has brought nothing but war, decay and pestilence everywhere it has spread. Islam still trades black skin as slave... trades white women as sexual slaves, treats its own women as chattle, and spreads nothing but violence...
I for one am sick of making excuses for it. The problem is not moderate vs extremist Islam.. its ISLAM itself. It is a "religion" in which Deceit, Treachery and Murder are considered Morale... it is a "religion" that mandates itself to take over the world, and makes no distinction whether it does so by peaceful or violent means.
A muslim can smile to your face, while he plots to slice your throat and be completely within the teachings of "his religion" to do so. Allah is not the God of Abraham, and it is not a religion of peace. Convert or Die was a practice started by this pestulance "prophet" and continues to this day.
While I know there are Muslims are decent people, their religion is not defensible. It is the codification of ends justifying the means. A completely immorale standard for any religion that claims to flow from the God of Abraham.

I think you're right. It's not about "moderate" vs. "extreme." Look what it says in the article...

So, these would probably have been considered "moderate" Muslims by most people, and this is what they tried to do. If this is "moderate", I really hope they never get "extreme"...
