Twisted young British parents planned to sacrifice their precious baby in the evil cause of jihad by mass murder.
Fanatical terror suspect Abdula Ahmed Ali, 25, and his wife, Cossor, 23, are among those being interrogated by police as suspects in the massive plot to attack trans-Atlantic flights in midair.
What the outwardly normal couple had secretly plotted is almost too horrifying to consider, cops said.
The Alis planned to use 6-month-old son Zain's baby bottle as a liquid bomb, blowing themselves and their child up, along with hundreds of others aboard the flight.

At least 20 Muslim women have blown themselves up in such attacks.
Particularly disturbing was Cossor Ali's apparent intent to conceal the liquid trigger for a bomb in Zain's baby bottle when the family boarded a jetliner.
"It may be beyond belief, but we are convinced that there are now women in Britain who are prepared to die with their babies for their twisted cause," a security adviser to the British government told The Times of London.
"They are ruthless, single-minded and totally committed."

You grossly overestimated.... Muslim mothers have been sending sons off to die in the name of their mental disease for thousands of years.
There is no moderation in Islam... it is a ends justifies the means warriors credo, not a religion of peace.
Islam believes it is destined to rule the world and advocates its followers to do everything in their power to make it so, and makes ABSOLUTELY NO DISTINCTION, NONE, ZIP, ZILCH, ZERO whether they do it by peaceful or violent means.

I think you're right. It's not about "moderate" vs. "extreme." Look what it says in the article...

So, these would probably have been considered "moderate" Muslims by most people, and this is what they tried to do. If this is "moderate", I really hope they never get "extreme"...
Ive always told anyone who espouses the "moderate muslim" shpeil to me... there is no such thing.
The nice guy, who looks like hes friendly, popular, just one of the guys, whatever... just when he goes from being just Mo from around the block to Abu Ramzan or whatever, is anybodys guess.
Look at what people have said about each and every one of the bombers.. "I dont believe it", "Hed never do such a thing", "He was always so polite"... all bunkum. None of it matters if hes plotting to go kaboom.
Nukes may be the only viable option. However, a smart, gutsy, NON-PC military operation without nukes would go far to reduce/eliminate the threat. Daisy cutters and MOABs all 'round, fellas!
