"This has been a policy since the time of Thomas Jefferson"
The "time of Jefferson" being what? His Presidency?
Nevermind even Jefferson didn't mean "never the twain shall meet" in an infamous letter (to a church, which incidentally was getting assurance that churches would not be forced to do what the GOV wants!).
When he wrote "separation of church & state", he MEANT "NON-ESTABLISHMENT OF A PARTICULAR REGLIGION".
Which is what's written in the Constitution.
Which was BEFORE Jefferson's presidency (and Jefferson was NOT present for creating the same). Don't give him so much credit!

Jimmy Carter of the Tehran captivity fame.
Jimmy Carter who got advise on nuclear strategy from his pubescent daughter.
Jimmy Carter who had that vile Communist and America-Hater Ramsey Clark (who is still slithering around) as his AG.
Why on earth anyone listens to anything this moron says amazes me.

Jimmy Carter is a subhuman POS who should burn in hell for what he did to this country (and I daresay the rest of the world). He is the most miserable failure of a leader in US (and possibly world) history. Why anybody of any political leaning would continue to listen to his warmed-over bullsh!t is beyond me.

Under all of its predecessors there was a commitment to peace instead of preemptive war. Our country always had a policy of not going to war unless our own security was directly threatened If Mr. Peanut had gone to war when we were attacked, an attack on an embassy being the same as an attack on the country, there would be no Iran problem today.

It's the quality of one's friends that count, not the quantity.
As Patton once said, "I'd rather have a German division in front of me, than a French one behind me..."

Carter: No, as a matter of fact, the concerns I exposed have gotten even worse now with the United States supporting and encouraging Israel in its unjustified attack on Lebanon. SPIEGEL: But wasn't Israel the first to get attacked? Carter: I don't think that Israel has any legal or moral justification for their massive bombing of the entire nation of Lebanon. What happened is that Israel is holding almost 10,000 prisoners, so when the militants in Lebanon or in Gaza take one or two soldiers, Israel looks upon this as a justification for an attack on the civilian population of Lebanon and Gaza. I do not think that's justified, no.Every times this moron opens his mouth he gives support to our enemies. His UN Ambassador Andrew Young stated if successful, Iran's IslamiNazi leader Khomeini would "eventually be hailed as a saint." Carter wanted the Iranian Mullahs to succeed. His administration was filled with Leftist fools. Carter is the real Manchurian Candidate who became POTUS.

Former US president Jimmy Carter speaks Castro's dead. Isn't it time for other politicians with the last name starting with the letter C to pass on from natural causes?
