Since you brought it up:
About 30 years ago when I was working a late shift, I started watching a soap in the afternoons when I didn't have anything better to do. One of the females on the show had a baby boy. a couple of days later I was put on the day shift and was unable to watch the soap.
After about one month on days I went back on the night shift and started watching again and to my utter amazement, the kid who was only born a month earlier was now 14 years old. One of the characters had discovered a long lost identical twin and 2 characters had developed total amnesia.
I haven't watched a soap since.
But I'm glad the topic came up.
And speaking of legumes, I eat my peas with honey, I've done so all my life, it makes the peas taste funny but it keeps them on my knife.
Well, they grow up fast on the soaps and amnesia is an occupational hazard there. I'm thinking it would actually be easier to have one of those little bitty TV sets installed in the wall of the bathroom opposite the terlit. Maybe chain the remote to the john so's I don't flush it inadvertently. My feet will still fall asleep, though.
