Looking forward to the first Gallagher versus Crist televised debate Tuesday night August 22nd @ 8:00 PM.

There was an earlier one, not televised, that I missed. Maybe some questions will be answered on the 22nd. Hope so! Only a week away!

This is everyone of on the primary ballot in FL.
I have highlighted the admiral for convenience in answering the question. It is not an endorsement.
Harris is finished. That is reality.
So now we have to look at the other choices.
I don't see any one who jumps to the mind.

I definitly don't want any more RINOs

real deal of what?

seriously, as a tactical issue I do not see how harris has a chance in h*ll of even getting within 10 points of Nelson.

I would much rather explore the options of the other primary candidates than blindly go with harris at this point. The notion of another harvard lawyer does not thrill me either, but if I have four viable choices I will look at them. No way am I voting for nelson and no way am I tossing my vote on a looney third party candidate.

Problem is that Harris is sure to LOSE. If Collins has the right credentials he just might be the one to back because of the name recognition.

I am not impressed that the Broward GOP (the mighty Broward GOP who can't deliver the county to any republicans) endorses Crist.

They sure invoke the name Jeb Bush a lot, but I know better. Crist is not Jeb Bush, one big difference is that Jeb likes girls.

Can you back up your vile accusations with some proof? Or are you just spreading rumors.

davidosborne, at your convenience, please link your TOM GALLAGHER ENDORSEMENT THREAD here.

Since the date of that thread, Gallagher has also added Dr. James Dobson, Focus on the Family, a huge endorsement.

Why do Crist apologists always use icky words like vile? You're all grumpy and always saying "prove it". Meanwhile, Crist has yet to prove he was a good Attorney General. Being that he DIDN'T KNOW THAT THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS THE SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE, he's going to take away the Christmas Tree at the Capital. Crist, the grinch who opened an investigation over 100 packages of golfballs. Why? Because the golfballs ended up in Catholic Hands.

Shame on Crist for investigating JOHN PAUL II High School. He seems to hate Catholics. He certainly gave TERRI SCHIAVO short shrift and stuck with the ACLU who helped her husband at the counsel table KILL HER.

How do you like supporting somebody who let an innocent woman suffer and die from starvation and dehydration? Was the Civil Rights Dept. at FLAG with an "L" closed each and every time Terri Schiavo was being tortured and finally bumped????? It was closed for business every time concerned citizens called. His office said they "didn't even have a civil rights dept."

Charlie Crist doesn't know there's no separation of church and state. Do you want the atheists, the aclu, et al to run the state? That's what you're gonna get.

This was a big case for Crist. 100 packages of golf balls went to a Catholic High School. There is no separation of church and state and instead of opening a file on this, Crist could have told the atheists/secularists that their complaint was frivolous. Instead he opened a file over 100 packages of golf balls. Here's the news story:

"2003 November 17 Tallahassee, FL—Florida Attorney General Charlie Crist announced that a Florida State Lottery practice of donating items to a fund-raiser for a Catholic high school would be reviewed to see whether it violates the separation of church and state. Americans United for Separation of Church and State brought the charge. For two years the Florida Lottery supplied 100 packages of golf balls with the lottery logo on them to a charity golf tournament held to raise money for John Paul II Catholic High School."

FV says: Charlie Crist, protecting Floridians from Catholics with golf balls for the biggest sep of church and state org in the country. Crist has also fought for the AARP and he is a MEMBER. We have the photo.
