They must not understand how many people were effected by Katrina.

The people that wanted him to visit them... I'm astonished! The man is busy. I'd rather he be doing his job than giving me a hug while my life crumbles around me. That's what family and friends are for. I don't want him to be the "comforter in chief"... like Clinton's false sympathy. Bush doesn't pander or patronize.

Plainly put, I wouldn't feel worthy of Bush's attention when he has so many other matters to consider. Are these people without brains? Do they even remember that we are fighting two wars? How self-centered and myopic can they be?

Yes....they are without brains. It's the "it's Bush's fault" syndrome here in NE Ohio. I'm surrounded by them...
