I found the links in question. It comes from a site run by a FReeper. I've linked to things from her site for years...guess she decided to make a change...had one of her pics set for Friday which I've just downloaded & used ImageShack. As you might imagine, putting the threads together takes quite a bit of time & having to download everything would increase that quite a bit. Will continue to play it by ear until something like this rears its ugly head...

BTW, I knew what "no hotlinking" meant, but I was unaware of the above website's new modus operandi...

Actually, I know Sondra, and she's been complaining about hotlinkers for as long as I've known her. There's NEVER been a free hotlinking "policy" at Sondra's site. Never.
If you read her site as much as some of us do, you'd know that.

I'm sorry it takes time to put these threads together, but let me put it this way: having a job takes time out of a person's day, right? Well, I don't feel like getting a job, because it takes time out of my day. Instead, I'll just steal my groceries. Maybe a car, too. It's much more convenient that way.

You know, maybe if the readers in the toon threads like her stuff, they might actually want to VISIT her site. You're stealing her bandwidth, her work, AND her traffic.
If it were me, I'd have swapped out the pics LONG ago, and I wouldn't have 'shopped in the Lebanese woman or the eye.

By the way, a lot of bloggers are Freepers. It doesn't mean it's OK for FR to STEAL from them.
