Not only was the Vietnam toon tasteless, the web site that hosted it in the first place replaced it with a "No Hot Linking" jpeg that is the most obscene and tasteless image I have ever seen!

Tasteless is the the minority eyes of the beholder. Have no idea what you're talking about re the "no hotlinking", but I have no control over what other sites do.

You need to check your sources, thicken your skin, and not forget that we all love Pookie's toons! And I am still a huge fan or yours.

"No hotlinking" means do NOT use the other site's image source. Save the image, upload it to your own server or something like image shack, then post it here. You're stealing bandwidth, and FR uses a LOT of bandwidth. I don't blame anyone for posting goatse or even worse to get you to knock off the hotlinking.

You don't have control over what other sites do, so don't be surprised if you get a shock on occasion when you're caught.

I noticed you've hotlinked the other images too, and don't be surprised if they give you a jolt as well one of these days. You want Free Republic banned from Day by Day or any of those other sites? I'm sure nobody else does!

Furthermore, if you had linked to the post where you got the Vietnam picture, paulat might have seen it IN CONTEXT and not have been offended.

Also, if I you don't recall seeing my name before I started commenting negatively about some of your selections, it is because you do not have a good memory. I can easily go back and provide you with links to numerous comments I made that contain nothing but Kudos. And I am still giving you Kudos, but it seems you have a tendency to seize on the negatives.
