Why wouldn't we want to remind the world that the result of communism is terrified, screaming, naked children running for their lives - with their parents most likely dead? All these toons are reminders of why our young men and women are getting shot at all over the world. Seems alot of folks want to present the outcomes of these ideologies as very asceptic and non-threatening.

My first experience as a young child (10yrs old) of seeing the results of communism first hand certainly put things in perspective for me for the rest of my life. Wasn't funny then and isn't funny now but its very appropriate and necessary to be reminded and remind others why we have an armed force ready to defend our ideals in this nation.

That's the whole point of these toons - not necessarily funny (ie the pic of the woman jumping from the world trade center) - but very useful for illustrating the differences b/t democracy and islam-fanaticism (and communism). Some of these toons make the point with humor, some with sarcasm, some with irony, some with just the stark reality.

The fact of the matter is this: if we (the US/Israel/western nations) do not stop this current ideology (as we did with communism), your kids and my kids will be running screaming through the streets like that except that the gunmen will be wearing towels, not helmets. No amount of denial will change that fact.

Thanks...I don't agree on the "cartoon," but thanks!

Coming back to it...the photo speaks for itself...terrified children.

Pookie thougt it was "funny" to put a comic element in it...this is one of the most "unfunny" posts I have ever seen.
