In fact, most of the Paks (including those of predominantly Arab origin) like to differentiate themselves from the Arabs (including Mo) by noting that some things are clearly cultural, e.g. plural marriage, frequent divorce, the burqa, and so forth.
Plural marraige is a specific right of Moslem men that is called out in the Koran. Whether or not to take advantaqe of the opportunity is a personal choice, but no true Moslem country can have laws against it without being out of step with Sharia and the Koran.
