"In his ruling, White said his hands were tied by a 1972 Supreme Court precedent that no one, including journalists, was above the law and may refuse to testify before a federal grand jury that has subpoenaed them. He added that Congress has not adopted a shield law to protect journalists from testifying before grand juries."

I love this line by obviously a liberal judge who didn't want to issue this ruling but was bound by law.

I know that is great! I believe he is talking about the "pentagon papers" case. Reporters always forget to completely and accurately inform the public of the complete ruling by the supremes. They always say the pentagon lost that case, which is not true in theory.
