I am the exception to the rule.

Possibly because I was not brilliant enough to keep the gunsafe combo from Mrs. Slim.

Genius does not inevitably require an utter lack of self-control or moral turpitude.

"It is, sadly, simply a by-product of the human exploratory urge, and one of the prices we - and wives the world over - have to pay for being the most innovative species on the planet."

Really?

My EX-Husband would never be confused with Einstein and he couldn't keep it in his pants, either. *SHRUG*

I guess my wife does not have to worry about me cheating on her.

Look at Newt and Rudy. They are both on Wife #3 and each went through a very messy divorce, the details will be relived if either runs for President.

this is merely preparing us for Mrs. Clinton and her run for the whitehouse. We can't blame her for her Brilliant husband and his affairs its not her fault he was born that way. Just getting us ready for the excuses.

When I saw this article my first thought was, "Why are we discussing this? Bill Clinton is no longer President." I see the author did manage to sneak his name in at the end.

"Brilliant men always betray their wives"

And only foolish men believe that.

Brilliant men always betray their wives

Always? Ridiculous. Often? Could be.

And of course plenty of idiots betray their wives as well.

While I've lusted to be brilliant... I somehow have managed to maintain my stupidity.

Morris and his snake oil.

Notice how this wasn't about Einstein, really. And was picking and choosing geniuses.

This is the new creation myth/Bible stories for how we are what we are. Just so stories, pseudo science, dressed up as science.

Pays the rent.

Amazing depths of rationalization.

I cheated on you becuase I'm so smart. I can't help it. My genius made me do it.

Uh huh.

This is why the halls of science are known as the pits of raw, unrestrained, bestial sex,

and the inner city is known as the pinnacle of sexual restraint and unavailability.

The real problem is that "brilliant" men often think their knowledge of some esoteric subject also means they have great insight into women - and they usually don't. The "brilliant" men tend to marry exploitive self centered women and then search else where for affirmation. Not too smart...
