Sure.

Start with about 4 tablespoons of mayonnaise, either homemade or the commercial one you like the best.

Add one garlic clove, crushed and chopped.

Add one or two anchovy filets which you've soaked in milk or buttermilk for a while, then rinsed....to remove the salt. Crush the filets into a sort of paste.

Finally, add a sqeeze of fresh lemon juice.

Mix all the ingredients well.

You can experiment with the amount of anchovy you use in this. It all depends on how much you like anchovies.

This is a good thing for serving with almost anything that will be complimented by garlic and anchovies. Fish, crab dishes, and that sort of thing. Good stuff.

Thanks, that does sound really good.

We're having a fish fry at the local Moose Lodge Friday night, I think I'll make up a batch of it.
