Okay. So out of a population of 60,609,153, 2.7%, or 1,636,447, are Muslims. From that, 30%, or 490,934, believe that Sharia law should be implemented.
Depending on how you look at it, it's either no big deal or it's terrifying. On the one hand, only 0.9% of Brits think that the UK should be under Sharia - probably the same number that think the earth is flat or that we should all worship broccoli. On the other hand, almost half a million Brits think the UK should be under Sharia law - that's a LOT of people.
I think what's more worrisome right now is not that the UK actually ADOPTS Islamic Law, but more that there are half a million people who want to. Let's say that even 10% of those are willing to become terrorists. That's what...50,000?
