The "Thick Skin" statement is serious. I faced them last year when Bush came to the VFW. One of the ladies in our group was spit on and pinched when she was in proximity to the rabble. Although they're "peacenick" expect anything but. They will try to intimidate you by any means possible.

Last year they left our corner alone because one guy broght "Zeus" (one tough Great Dane). Even the anarchists weren't stupid enough to try to confront Zeus. I, however, don't count on Zeus being present this year. He was a blast, though (barked and made a liberal lady's little dog crap and run)!

Yes, the liberals like the small dogs that they can control easier, LOL.

Yes, they will try to intimidate you. We were at a protest last year and a bunch of the Peace People (and I use the term loosely) came walking right through us, very aggressively, pushing people around with their bodies as they jammed through. The police were on our side, tho.

Of course, this is happening right at the same time as my hubby's retirement party....If I were an amoeba, I would split and come join, but I think I have to be in Ogden then....

Big Utah Ping!

Sorry for the double ping for some of you. I noticed a lot more addresses from Utah so I decided to update my list.

Let me know if you want on or off the list.

Honestly, I'm not trying to be crass but that was a priceless moment. Everyone laughed when it happened (well, except the lib. lady - she didn't seem amused).

I forgot to mention: Last year the protesters promptly marched to the VFW convention (Salt Palace) and protested in front of it too AFTER Bush left. So much for respecting our servicemen/women.

I could shrug off the stuff at their initial protest but it infuriated me (and my Navy buddy) when we saw them in front of the convention hall (again, AFTER Bush had left)!

I doubt the VFWs were very happy as there was a large police force surrounding the protesters (I'm guessing for the protesters protection).

I sure will read the report. Hopefully there will be one. I will be visiting family in Mapeleton, the week previous, but have to return home because of work, two days prior to the event. Would love to be there, except my lips might slip. Our resident leftists, occupy a corner in Rapid City, every Sunday. Two or three of them with signs, such as "fire the liar" and "impeach bush".

The same street corner is occupied by a statue of Jimmy Carter. Diagonally across the street, wearing a cowboy hat and a big smile stands a statue of Ronald Reagan. We see them every Sunday afternoon, as we return from church. They have been absent the last two Sundays during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. I'll bet I could read something into that. Don't ask why we don't stop, we have a small debate every time we see them, but know that it would ruin someone elses day.

Yeah, the lefties here do the same thing. If you go to my profile page, I have links to their sites. They have 'peace vigils' etc all the time.

I can't get out of work to be there. I want to though. I would love to be there.
But, at this year's St. Patirck's Day Parade, I booed Rocky as he passed within ten feet of me and yelled "President Bush RULES!" he stared at me with that dumb look of his and kept moving on.
Later during the festivities at the Gateway my mother-in-law was getting nervoius because Rocky was eating just a table away from us. She was afraid I was going to approach him. But I didn't. I felt I had made my point. Plus I didn't feel like going to jail for punching the mayor.

May I suggest handing out copies of The killing machine that is Marxism if the moonbats come to your side? It prints very easily on one piece of paper if you print two sided.

That's because the people in "Peace Marches" are not peaceful, they're angry people with no self control. Why are they angry? Because they didn't get THEIR way.

They are very thinned skinned and cleaver words and observations about them work well. Example the anarchist hate been called cowards hiding behind masks. Some pull them off when you say something. Then you tell them to cover that ugly face.

Here in Tucson, our lefties removed all protesting schedules from their websites, especially their main one, http://www.peacecalendar.org. Hey, they're just practicing their philosophy of running and hiding!

I find that interesting. The only place the lefties have their 'schedule' is on the 'utahvoices' site. Otherwise, no other sites have anything on them and even a google search doesn't yield much. They seem to be trying to keep their planning more quiet. Maybe we've ruined their parties too many times...
