Just another reason to appreciate President Bush.
I agree.
Much as the president raises my blood pressure every time he attempts to deal with the illegal alien invasion of our country, I can't imagine a democrat stepping in to save this cross.
So this is something to savor, definitely.

The locals voted overwhelmingly to keep the Cross however the ACLU doesn't care what the majority want, only that the 1 was offended.

This should've happened years and years ago. All along there have been crazy courts, judges always moving goal posts, lilly-livered politicians, multiple thwartings of the will of the voter... it's been a study in what's *wrong* with gov't.
