He said FOX was not mentioning the situation ON-AIR because...
"Things were still being worked out"
No other details...
He was rude. . .we complain that these people do not rise to the occasion for such; and when 'what's his name' at least attempted a call for thier safety; O'Reilly cuts him off.(I was thinking - Great. . .if these kidnappers even warmed a 'tad' from his message. . .)
As for O'Reilly's abruptness; no one was asking for an alalysis of the situation.
That said...the topic was 'Muslim anger' as per President Bush's reference and for which Muslim reps have kept his pants on fire since his words ignited Muslim attention.
And O'Reilly was trying to water the flames down. . .
Palestinians are very media-conscious and usually situations like this are resolved within 48 hours, with the kidnapped newsmen saying how well they had been treated.
But being FOX... Well, the Pals might be trying to get them to see things more their way. They don't like the evenhanded style that FOX presents, and much prefer the CNN approach.
