And much as it puts a bad taste in the mouth, unfortuantely until the UN is abolished or changed dramatically, we still have to use it to a point, so down the road we can say, heh we did everything we could diplomatically and it did not work.
Without the United States, the UN collapses. Just ignore it, nut up and act like a superpower. A nation fighting to the death in an international war on terrorism does not give terrorist factions time to regroup, rearm and refocus.
