I agree. The resolution has Lebanon agreeing to be accountable, and places the blame on Hez for starting the war. The Hezzies don't like it, Iran/Syria don't like it.

I don't see how this hurts Israel. They still have to fight and defeat Hez, but the pretty sizable resolution was a political gain for our side.

Don't know. It appears that the Israeli press is going to sweep these rocket firings under the rug. Looks like Israel will be able to pick and choose which violation triggers their next response, assuming Olmert has the cajones. When the presstitutes say Northern Lebanon, they probably mean anything near or north of Beirut. Katyushas fired from Central Lebanon could reach southern Lebanon. The Hezzi's have probably established Katyusha killing zones within Southern Lebanon. This would have been one of the backup plans assuming they were overrun in the south. Hezbollha has been overrun in the south. Lebanon's infrastructure has been decimated. Next up, Syria.
