Yeah - BINGO!
The SlimeStreamMedia really has a problem with actual reporting. This is a lot like Rush Limbaugh's "SUV Update" wherein the news media endows the evil vehicles themselves with animated characteristics {SUV strikes crowd at market, one killed, five injured} as if there were no driver at the wheel.
Here, we're dealing with magical rockets that voluntarily and spontaneously launched themselves towards the land of...
"the EEEEEEEVILLLLLLLL JOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOS!"
AmericanArchConservative
"The Final Crusade has commenced - no retreat until the mohammadans surrender - or die!"
If Israel cut off communication with Hezzies in the south, this may be a signal of sorts.
It would appear that Lebanon (the host of Hizb) has accurately determined that the scolding, followed by a GASP! harsh rebuke; is worth it. Some will not be happy until another 241 US Marines get killed. Then, by God, the USA might wag a finger at them. There was NOTHING in this resolution holding Lebanon or their supporting entities responsible for attacks on Americans. Paper tiger indeed. Remind me of the valuable trade and cultural exchange that the USA has with Lebanon. This was never sold as a fast war on terror. Yet it is a halfassed war. So as not to offend the sensibilities of people with out the will to win.
This does not break the cease fire.
One has to understand UN cease fires related to Israel.
Only Israel can break the cease fire.
Hezbollah, fire at will. Olmert and Bush say you lost.
Some FReepers seem to think this is the most powerful weapon we have nowadays. I'd love to see it used on a border with Syria or Iran however. Might make those tanks a little toasty inside. ;-)
Nothing to see here. 'Lebanon' just firing rockets at itself.
Soon the Democrats will insist that Hezbollah, Hamas and Al Qaeda have seats at the UN.
Shooting themselves in the foot?
yep, its worse.
this is end times biblical propohecy.
Either way they win. Media won't bother to check to see what kind of missiles they are, or who fired them. Ya' think ? I do.
I also fly the United Kingdom flag and the Saint George flag of England as events warrant.
Remember when England stopped flying their own flag over their Post Offices because they didn't want to show disrespect to their Muslim countrymen because they might be reminded of the Crusades? I'll fly it here then, if they don't have the stones to fly their own flag in their own country.
Ill fly what I see fit, when I see fit, where I see fit, and with some guidance, how I see fit, when it suits me.
As for adding another flag pole, I made that one in my shop and I can make another one just like it, and install it, when I get to it. Events seem to have outrun me, lately. As I said, field expedience is called for sometimes. I mean no disrespect to our allies.
I apologize for the disruption.
3_if_by_treason humbly sends.
Not a good day if you are on the receiving end! :-)
Just out of curiosity, how can the UN or the US or anyone negotiate a ceasefire between a sovereign nation and a terrorist group? Is Hezbollah a member of the UN? Has any country recognized Hezbollah as a sovereign nation?
If there is a ceasefire it should be between Lebanon (who isn't actually fighting in this war) and Israel and not some gang of thugs who happens to exist on Lebanese soil.
Right now they are negotiating a settlement with a terrorist group. This really looks bad for the US. We should just be encouraging Israel to kill every one of these guys and anyone who harbors them.
I believe they are runnig it already.
Well, it's not the most powerful, but the trend in ordnance has been towards accuracy in recent times and away from massive explosions. For one thing, a well-placed bomb or missile usually does more tactically than a poorly placed huge bomb. And by the nature of things huge bombs are much harder to make accurate. The MOAB is delivered in a C-130 and is basically pushed out the back. It's never going to be as accurate as a Mk 84 JDAMS.
Man I love photoshop!!!
I concede. Wanna talk about Carpentry? ;-)
