How's this? I am field expedient. I break rules when rules hinder achieving the objective.

But none landed in Israel, so Israel had better not retaliate! And if more rockets head their way, if Jews die, well, that's fine with Hezbollah....who claim an 'intrinsic right to kill Jews'. They're not going to disarm...and what happens if Lebanon asks Syria to send in tanks to 'protect' them from evil Jews? This is complicated...(as Kerry said about something else.)

I know you mean well but without realizing it you are being very disrespectful.
What you are really showing when you do that is that the US is superior to or has conquered Israel.
You should fly the Israeli flag on a separate pole, parallel to the US flag if you really want to show both flags the proper respect.
Flag etiquette is not something we get to make up to suit our selves or our situations.
Cheers!

Nope....I said a few hours, last night.

Gee, I thought the ceasefire would last at least a day. Silly me. I thought five minutes. Looks like I won the pool.

Prove me wrong. How was the deal Dubya brokered NOT a sell-out of Israel? You really haven't been paying attention to any of the reasoned tactical analysis on this thread have you.
Even hear of Chess, Poker? While I'm not sure of W's skills in the former, I hear he's pretty good at the latter.
Anyway, he brokered a deal on the world statge; everyone signed off; gave the Hezzies plenty of rope.
They didn't even last a full day.
They may fire rockets; but they ain't rocket scientists.
Are you seriously telling us you think W thought the Hezzies, Syria and Iran would play by the rules?

In this case it may indeed be Bush's fault for pushing Israel into a peace on the Islamists' terms.
Any peace that does not include the complete destruction of radical Islamic fascism is a peace on the enemies' terms.

In fact, it seems many of Netanyahu's ideas and concepts are key parts of the Bush Doctrine. Wouldn't doubt it. When you're faced with an enemy you've never had to really fight before, one that's hit you hard on your own soil; you seek out those who've had experience with it.
I'd say BiBi qualifies.

Sound's like Hezbolla decided to start kicking their own butts. In a cosmic sense, they've been doing that for some time.
To: Mr. Mojo
Katyushas are so inaccurate that they're only useful as a terror weapon against civilians -- no one knows where they'll land. If you run the numbers on the Katyusha firings the past 3-4 weeks, on average it took about 88 Katyushas to kill a single Israeli. Lets hope the terrorist never get accurate guidance for their rockets.
To: se_ohio_young_conservative
Exactly.
I suppose it was our bloody stupid and probably unsuccessful appeasement to the Arab world that considers Hizbollah and Hamas and al qaeda and all the rest NOT terrorists. Malarky...
To: Nik Naym
If he's an American, the US flag is superior to any other flag. It's supposed to be flown higher than any other being flown.

CNN keeps saying ''Of course we don't know which side fired these rockets.''.......... Which makes about ZERO sense.... If the IDF launched rockets, they would have hit the intended target....duh...
BUt CNN is trying to keep the door open to the conspiracy theory that Israel might try to make it LOOK like the Hezbullies lanched rockets to give them an excuse.

It is Bush's fault, he should have insisted the UN resolution be made using bold, italics, and underlined to make it more serious... And printed on 30 pound paper in triplicate.
Does Hezbollah have any idea what is about to come screaming down at them?

"Never negotiate with terrorists.. how come people keep forgetting that!"
Because the ones who truly understand this principle are not around to remind those who don't. They are pushing daisys.
