Of course, the Democrats are ALWAYS to be taken seriously when they play the race card or the homless game or... why THEY wouldn't be merely using those issue for votes, eh? Heck those are SERIOUS issues, right?

Very series, and hugh!

Remember that there were no homeless people during the entire clinton administration?

Does this make you as freaking furious as it does me? There are just no words left to describe how reprehensible the media has become, and how stupid the public is for believing every word they say.

So which party grumbles the most about the Patriot Act, wiretapping, and checking bank records????

The Republicans aren't going to use the issue to win. They can talk about it. The Dims, on the other hand, know @#$# well that they're better off avoiding the issue altogether and pretending that it doesn't exist.

The sooner liberals admit to themselves and others these simple facts, the sooner they get back the white house.

1) Afghanistan was a victory in 2002.

2) Iraq was a victory in 2003.

3) They are both part of the War On Terror.

They're not even at step 2 yet, and it's been 3 YEARS!

So what they're saying is that it's not right to use the most prominent issue facing Americans as a point of discussion in an election, and the election should be decided by less important issues.

Why, other than that the Republican position on that issue will win more votes?

The answer, of course, is the old one--The MSM snobs don't think terror is THAT big a threat, and us stooopid folks can't separate our emotions from the issue, and we SHOULD be paying attention to the REAL issues of importance, like Diebold or something.

Here's what kills me: The Democrats are running on the war in Iraq (see CT). Now they say that it's not the same as the war on terror, which they are free to argue, but when the GOP actually responds, it's somehow unfair.

Now if the Dems were running on domestic issues, they might have a fair point, but they aren't. They complain that the conversation isn't 100% on their terms.

Basically, they are still attacking Bush. I don't get it.

He can't run anymore.

CUT AND RUN will be a main theme during October and November for the mid-terms.

And, watch this "we stopped the terrorists with the multiple airplanes" issue start getting legs.

The dems are in deep do do with both issues.

What it tells me is that they (Democrats) are running scared at this point.

Democrats say Republican want to bomb terrorists back into the Stone Age, what they don't understand is terrorists want to bomb us back into the 6th century and cut off our heads.

What a shame that the survival of a nation places such a burden on politicians struggling to win elections, assuage their ambitions, and their blind loyalty to an ideology that is proven to be disasterous to our future.

I agree. They're already preparing the rationale for their losing in November--"The Republicans played the terrorism card!" Well, yeah--right after the Brits foiled what would have been the biggest terrorist attack since 9-11.

I'd like to ask CNN's Dr. Bunsen Honeydew, if the plot came off, would he be on there saying "The Democrats are politicizing the Bush Administration's FAILURE to stop the terror attack?" Hell, no--and no reporter would say the Dems would be politicizing it, but would say it was a legit issue (which it would be).

The numbers are looking terrible for the Dems. It looks now like the only potential Senate pickup they have is Santorum (let's leave Chafee out of it). The GOP has possibilities in WA(!), MN and NJ(!). Moreover, two other seats, RI and MD, haven't even had primaries yet.

I contend that when the MD primaries occur, Steele will get a bump, regarless of who wins it. I have also always regarded RI as a wash if Chafee or a Democrat wins.

With that said, my prediction still holds: +1R in the Senate. And Rove hasn't even started his weather machine yet.

Might I suggest the more PC term, "Petroleum-based Youngling".
