Sorry San Diego, but as a lonely recruit and later Seaman attending "A" School in San Diego (1968-69), I can only recall the downside of being a sailor in a town that hated sailors and treated us like criminals.
I have no desire to ever visit that dump again.

Sorry you had a bad experience in San Diego.
From many people I know, San Diego is very much a navy town.
But I suppose it's hard to ignore one's personal experience.
