Read the book, UNDER THE BANNER OF HEAVEN and then ask, "Would the hundreds of murder victims described in this book consider LDS (either the 19th century version or current fundamentalist version) as 'harmless'?"
And that doesn't even weigh eternal spiritual considerations.
