I inherited my home and I'll sell it. I'll have more than enough money at my age to retire elsewhere in the country in some comfort for the rest of my life. Most people in California aren't that lucky. And the government makes it harder for those who dream of owning a home to move into one. How many people can afford a $550,000 single family home in this state? The Democrats should be doing everything they can to make housing less expensive. Instead, they're doing just the opposite. That's insanity, California-style.

My future wife and I purchased a home in Bakersfield, CA. We will eventually purchase another home along with investing. In the end, we will probably move out of CA due to the fiscal insanity of CA. I'm beginning to think Idaho just might be the place to retire.
