Has there ever been any hard evidence of the harm of second hand smoke?
I recall the original EPA report turned out to be a bunch separate studies lumped together with no clear outcome.
More accurately, it was a compilation of portions of many many studies, choosing only the parts that would support their premise.
At least one Federal Court determined it was incompetent and clearly fraudulent.
Yet, most existing laws across the country are "based" on that "study".
The World Health Organization did a major study on this and found that second hand smoke while annoying, did not cause any significant lasting damage to non smokers.
