I just can't shake the sense that there is always much going on beneath the diplomacy.

It has been a long time.. back in the Ford Administration, but there was a time when I did have access to the inside track. I can assure you there is a ton of things going on under the surface.

If you want to know what is going on ... ask your self what is the media not telling me and why. Note the media was telling us everywhere the Israeli forces were deployed Now they are not... Why?

Why are there not a lot more Israely causualties. If 10,000 troops had x number of causualties... then why isn't 30,000 troops suffering 3 times x. But they are not ... WHY?

You can see how things can be deduced from what you KNOW.. and what you are NOT TOLD.

It never ceases to amaze me that people read what comes from the msm and believe whatever slant it has at face value. The public has so little real information. That goes to answer the question of why consistent character is an important asset in our elected officials. We must be able to trust them.

Thanks very much for your posts on this topic. I appreciate learning from the experience of others. Saves me a lot of heartache. ; )

Sort of OT here, but: A couple of weeks ago, there was a flame-fest thread here, I was the flamee. At that time, I thought about making a list of posters to avoid because something they said ticked me off (you were not involved). Then I said "Nah, ya gotta judge each post on its merit."

Your explanation of where the troops might be deployed, how the Hez will be brought to their (hungry) knees made me glad I don't judge the post by the postee. Thanks for a very good explanation!
