"None of the flights from JFK are nonstop to Bozeman."

I didn't say they were, but you still haven't told me how he managed to get from JFK to O'Hare in Chicago, then tried to board a flight to Bozeman with a ticket that was valid only from New York. He raised a ruckus at the ticket counter, raising his voice so much, that the police had to be called. No mention that language was a barrier during the heated exchange.

How to get from New York to Chicago?

First, you go West.

This can be readily accomplished through hitchhiking.

Oh, yes, and the "raised voice syndrome" ~ that's how you get funny little foreign people to understand English ~ just keep raising your voice more and more and more until finally they understand!

That's even a comedy routine in numerous "we're on vacation" movies. It's a common human foible. What is to understand? You don't get out much do you.
