This isn't going away. We can only do so much. People that wants to blow a plane up are eventually going to do it. We have to make them not want to. How though? How far do we go with this before we realize we need to do something else? Body scans and flying naked? I would think, reasonable charter flights could make a lot of money right now.
Periodic, absolutely overwhelming and crushing victories every 50 to 100 years should do the trick. It seems to be the only thing that ensures 50 to 75 year stretches of peace and prosperity.
