That is just it Dave...the question was not "do we have people willing to die"..The question was why would muslims exposed to western values still be willing to die in order to kill us. Williams reply..."we have guys like that too"
The crock would be making a fool of yourself without actually having heard the audio of the statement yourself.
I heard that audio several times, and what he said was crystal clean to anyone with a 4th grade command of English.
His only defense (short of an apology), would be that that was not what he meant to say.
