I'm not Jewish.

I think a Jewish presence in the middle east is a good thing because they are civilized.

They have an awesome military and I respect that.

Should they be allowed a "pass" because they have been dealt with poorly in the past?

No.

The Bible cannot grant property rights any more than can the Koran.

I hope they kick the crap out of Hezbollah but they are not immune from criticism simply by being Jews.

I don't see anyone suggestion that they are immune from criticism. The point is that the vast majority of the criticism of Israel is based on a standard that is applied to no one else, and most complaints are purposely formulated so that there is no way for Israel to satisfy them without being willing to roll over and die.
