You'd be surprised at how many leftist Jews are secretly anti-Semitic... it's the "Jewish guilt" factor, a cultural trait from which we blame ourselves for anything that goes wrong. In moderation it is a positive force for self-improvement; in the extreme it manifests itself in airs of moral superiority as a means to mask self-loathing.

What do you call it when a minority claims to know what is best for the majority, against their wishes? I would call that belief in ones moral superiority.
And for the record, I do support Israel, and specifically Israels actions in the current crisis in Lebanon. I'm just not ready to label half the population of the U.S. as racists.
