Isn't this the same group that was behind the lawsuit that confiscated an Arizona landowners property after physically confronting and restraining illegals on his property and in one of his buildings?

Yeah, that was the Casey Nethercott case. It was a convoluted affair originating a few years ago when some people thought they could chill the growing movement by civilians to moniter the border.
Nethercott and company were accused of assault by a couple Salvadorians who crossed the Texas border illegally. Those charges were not proved but authorities got him on a firearms charge and the Southern Poverty Law and Morris Dees Profit Center won a civil judgment for the illegals that resulted in the seizure of Nethercott's ranch outside Douglas, Arizona.
