I'm reluctant to give the LA Times and this gun confiscation advocate the page views, so I think I'll refrain from reading the entire article.

From what I've read of the excerpt, it would appear that this woman is looking to play the blog martyr. Looks like those nasty ol' bloggers tweaked her widdle nose and she wants to wail and commiserate over it. OK everybody, all together now: aaawwwwwww.

Freedom of the press means freedom to be an idiot in print, and it's obvious that this woman is determined to fully exercise her rights in that regard. That bloggers would exercise their right to call her out on it should be neither surprising nor all that upsetting. But it would appear that this nascent 'Saint Jenny of Gun Confiscation' is determined to milk her blog martyrdom for what it's worth.
