'A SPINELESS retard with the character of pond scum." A "whacko," "greedy un-American idiot," "fascist," "whining liberal" and "nasty little gun grabber."
Those are just some of the names I've been called since I published an Op-Ed article in the Washington Post to commemorate the fifth anniversary of my brother's death. After briefly stating that David and his fiancee were shot and killed by the fiancee's mother, who was angry that she had to move out of their L.A. apartment, I went on to argue for a national ban on handguns. The gun control lobby, led by the Brady Campaign, has worked passionately to make guns safer and to regulate their sales. But such measures, I contended, will never significantly reduce the annual U.S. death toll by firearms — 12,000 — because most murderers use legally purchased handguns and know how to operate them safely.
A couple of days later, while procrastinating on a writing assignment, I Googled my article. And so began my strange, weeklong trip through chat rooms on such pro-gun websites as keepandbeararms.com freerepublic.com, packing.org and rightnation.us.

Am I being too cynical, in wondering whether the first op-ed was written to generate material for the second?Not at all. It's all the typical pattern of the "truth to power" agenda. I think its on the 2nd page.

Back in the 70s and 80s, the feminists were trying to weave a "worldwide dialog" wherein the words "semen" and "bullets" were as synonymous as "penis" and "guns".
I see a nother frigid femme attempting to bring back the "visuals". Perhaps, tho she'll amuse us further with equating Hezbollah's weapons with a woman's ovaries... and how these are good things. lol

Dear Jenny said in her article: "After all, the Internet doesn't create community. People create community — and how the Internet is used depends on the people who use it."
Better look out! She wants to take away our guns, and now feels she is suffering because of "nasty" things being said about her on the Internet. I guess that will be the next thing she'll want to take away from us!
I'll paraphrase her own words to show that her argument is baseless: "and how guns are used depend on the people who use them."
Geez, it's called personal responsibility!

When restrictions were placed on gun use in the 60s violent crime increased.
When restrictions were eased on gun use starting in the 90s violant crime dropped.
I'm sure that's just a coincidence. < /sarc>

Frankly, Jenny, I don't give a damn about your late brothers life, death and method of demise. He's dead. His choices led to his death. He hooked up with a gal who's mother was unstable. Sorry for your loss, but his death ain't my problem.

Of course, when you let the little head do the thinking for the big head, this is sometimes what happens.

LA Times search for "David Price". Three returns, none seem to be about the beloved brother.
Partners: 
This nut said that the story, infamous as it would be, headline, frontpage, was 'buried' in both the LA Times and the LA Daily News. She said in the Washington post it happed five years ago. Article was in December, 2005. Search's for both papers and obits, from 6 years before 2005, and through four years back from 2005, produce not one single hit. No arrest. No trial. No sentance. No obit. Zero. Nada. Zip.
