"I sometimes wonder if we are just in the eye of the storm, like something more is coming."
We are nowhere near the eye, in my opinion. If what I believe is on the horizon, the storm has yet to even hit us.
I mean, look at how everything has been happening in waves. After 9-11 there were train derailments and such. Then the blackouts worldwide. Remember how trucks and fertilizer disappeared? Cruise ships kept having problems with passengers becoming ill. Now back to airplanes?
I can understand not wanting to panic the nation, but surely the public ought to be informed on a different level...and soon.
And lookie here:
Tokyo having a major blackout.

Hmmm. Clearly you didn't understand my post.
If a Michigan winter gale can't even rock her, a handful of angry Muzzies with big firecracker IED's don't have a chance.
"I can understand not wanting to panic the nation, but surely the public ought to be informed on a different level...and soon."
What I would do is inform the public on a one-on-one basis as calmly yet swiftly as possible. Then get the press to cooperate in making sure the nation stays calm and then make it clear that leaks of sensitive info will result in the guilty parties getting shot.

Funny stuff has been going on, but in my opinion they're just testing the waters, like one massive rehearsal.
In my humble opinion, we need to decentralize as many things as possible. Power, food source and supply chains, government and major economic programs and an emergency plan in case the Stock Exchange is hit. Then line the border that we share with Mexico with landmines and make sure that Canada isn't unwittingly harboring terrorists.
"...then make it clear that leaks of sensitive info will result in the guilty parties getting shot."
The media should be first. CNN began this cr@p during the Gulf War.

It's as if we're watching the individual fireworks going up all the while knowing the finale will be spectacular.
I hope we're gathering decent intel from the OCD cell phone jihadists.
Amen to that.

It'll be for the last time. Americans, no matter what the idiot peaceniks like to think, are just looking for one good reason to get the guns out and go Muzzie hunting. At least I know I am.
I wonder if the Japanese already have plans to deal with the Muzzies the minute they step out of line.
"You and I and every American are soldiers on the front lines in this war."
It's a pity that it has to be this way.
"I see a revolution coming on. We have to fight back, one and all."
I believe we'll win. We know what we will lose, and we are unwilling to lose it. The Muzzies would turn this beautiful country into one big pisshole (I know I'm being vulgar for a lady) of a desert and the cities into another big slum. They have no idea how to create and we do; we know however the potential for a great future for our kids and we're willing to fight to see that vision through.
That lone, depressed, suicide bomber (sarcasm) at the OU football game had been in Pakistan, his roommate was from Pakistan, and he worked with liquid explosives. Why do I think this is somehow connected? Too quick to discount terrorism IMHO.
I don't know...but did you see how a part of Japan was without power yesterday? Unbelievable timing. Yes, my tinfoil hat is a chosen and permanent fixture.
"If what I believe is on the horizon, the storm has yet to even hit us."
I'm afraid that you are right.
latin king gang members maybe
I think they'd look good swinging from the Mac
they look like the average hispanic gangbanger.
you ever notice how hispanic and middle eastern males are very similar looking
uh oh..... here come the pc police.
That's not at all surprising. Spain was occupied by Moorish Muslims for 800 years. There was a lot of interbreeding between the Germanic tribes in Spain and the Moorish conquerors.
"Someone" is going to use that little fact to their advantage.
The families of two men originally charged with supporting terrorism after buying large numbers of cell phones say they've lost a sense of belonging to the country they've long called home. Ali Houssaiky and Osama Sabhi Abulhassan, both of Dearborn, Mich., headed home from jail Tuesday after prosecutors in southeast Ohio dropped the terror charges, saying they couldn't prove a terrorism link.
