A corrupt LAPD officer? Say it isn't so!
I remember reading that at one time, the LAPD set the standard, even worldwide - agencies would visit from all over the globe to see how things were done. They were that highly regarded. I don't know what happened, particularly. But I sure wouldn't blame the LAPD.
