Everything Dobson said makes sense and it correct.
It won't stop those with an agenda and an ax to grind, but there it is.

Curious. The Logic Fallacy known as Guilt by Association now. My the Leftists seem to have no limit to the depths of mental imbecility they will stoop to to attack their ideological foes

We did not believe it was anti-Semitic in 2004, and our views have not changed.A lot of the villains were Jews.
A lot of the villains were Romans.
One of the villains was Supernatural.
One of the villains was portrayed by Mel Gibson.
The heroes were all Jews.
Such blatant antisemitism should not be allowed.

I respect James Dobson, but Mel Gibson has got serious problems not only with alcohol but with anti-Semitism. Dobson denying Mel's anti-Semitism doesn't make the situation go away. Certain folks will forgive and forget Gibson's outbursts. Some Jews may choose to forgive but not forget.

Mel clearly has a serious problem with Jews. Like father like son. Had he been Noam Chomsky's son, he would likely have different idiotic beliefs rather than the ones his nutbag Dad "taught" him.
Denying the problem wont make it do away. Mel needs to get sober, and only then can he face the silly anti-semetic beliefs he inherited.

Mels dad is a known antisemitic . So his sons actions are no surprise .
Maybe Mel and James can join in the coming muslim parade protesting Israels defending themselves . I heard on radio last night about this parade coming up .
Ironic how muslims are so quite when terror strikes, yet plan protest against our ally Israel who is at war with one of their forms of 'politics ' .

With some altsheimers in my family, many of us have discussed what it would mean to lose control like that and say and do things that would be absolutely the opposite of what we stood for when in our right mind.
I think everyone has thoughts that they suppress but fear would come up if they lost control. That is one of the terrible things about altsheimers
....and being slosh, smelly drunk.

Wasn't it Corrie ten Boom who once remarked, about a particularly vile thing that had been done to her in the past, "I distinctly remember forgetting it."

Oh stuff it Granny. Neither one is calling for that now.

I wonder if any of us have ever heard racial opinions from our parents or grandparents that would absolutely embarrass us.

I think Mel has an identity crisis. On the one hand he's a family man with strict fundamentalist Catholic upbringing and tries to live by the Teachings, and on the other hand he's an artsy type of guy full of creative ideas and motives that may/m/not conflict with his "real" life.

Emotionally or mentally ill people shouldn't' make movies with such a profound impact on others who are ignorant enough to believe them . Passion was full of half truths and outright falsehoods . God and Jesus are Holy and Sacred . It is dangerous to add to or take away from the Bible . I would never watch such a film . I consider it blashemous .

As a people, the Jews have been forgiving their enemies for thousands of years. They've been smart not to forget the transgressions made against them.

Before the PC era, the was the saying, "Sticks and stones can break my bones, but words will never hurt me."
Today, it seems greater emphasis is placed on what people say than what they do.

I have not seen the "the Passion". I don't need the cinema to explain to me the torture.
