An article says that they used that in the London Bombings on 7-11 last year. It's strange they say the police "theorized" -- don't they know for sure?

"After the July 7 suicide bombings in London last year, British police theorized that acetone peroxide triacetone triperoxide (TATP) was the "home-made" explosive used by the plotters."

ACETONE PEROXIDE EXPLOSIVE

Acetone peroxide is a primary explosive that can be made from hair bleach (hydrogen peroxide), acetone, and sulfuric acid. This explosive is to be used in the fabrication of detonators.

Good Lord in Heaven, a quick google search gives plenty of sites on how to manufacture an explosive from this stuff and how to make the acetone peroxide in the first place.
