In the current climate, there could be one fix, and one fix only: Widespread use of nuclear weapons on the nutjobs with the resulting worldwide economic depression and millions of deaths.

If we are not going to nuke them, and we won't, the only other alternative is to surgically strike the leaders, all in one fell swoop. I believe our president knows this, and that he will more than likely take care of that nasty business before leaving office rather than leave it to some unknown successor.
