Kristol obviously does not know his cartoon characters well. Bugs Bunny is a scrappy 'wascally 'wabbit - may like carrots but does not take insults/threats/etc lying down. Just ask Yosemite Sam, Wile E Coyote, Elmer Fudd, etc etc.

They've been offering beads and trinkets to muslims for the entire history of this country and it hasn't worked. They attacked us way back in the 18th century and haven't stopped regardless of the tributes and enchants.
Personally I'd offer Iran some nuclear technology, Enola Gay style, and be done with it.
