Sheehan hospitalized in Waco for dehydration

Activist Cindy Sheehan was hospitalized in Waco on Friday for dehydration and exhaustion, her assistant said, but she is expected to be released today.
A Providence Health Center nursing supervisor said that she hadnt received a report from Sheehans physician Friday night but that Sheehan was likely in stable condition.
Sheehan went to an emergency room in Seattle on Thursday for dehydration after she spoke at the Veterans for Peace national convention, said Tiffany Burns, an activist leader and Sheehans assistant.
Sheehan also had been experiencing heavy bleeding, so Waco doctors performed a dilation and curettage, in which the lining of the uterus is scraped, and were doing a biopsy, Sheehans sister, Dede Miller, told the Associated Press.
Im worried, but I know this is a pretty common procedure, Miller told the AP.
Sheehan was expected to be in Crawford on Friday for a protest march but checked herself in to Providence on the advice of doctors. She has recently been on an all-liquid diet, with the goal of fasting until World Peace Day next month.
Burns said she expected Sheehan to remain at Providence overnight Friday.
