DES MOINES, Iowa - Delaware Sen. Joe Biden was back in Iowa on Thursday, ending a 19-year absence from the state that will launch the presidential nominating season.
The Democrat said he has decided to test the presidential waters because of partisan gridlock in the Senate. Even if Democrats regain control of the chamber, he said it's unlikely they could advance much of an agenda.
"The only place you can do that is from the White House," said Biden, who plans to spend 15 days this month in Iowa.
"I don't think we're going to get back in the near term to the days when there are 55 Democrats and maybe a dozen moderate Republicans you can actually deal with."

Dear Joe:
go home.
most sincerely yours,
