Fordson was dominated by Muslims when I lived in Dearborn 40 years ago.
Again, I'm at a loss to figure out why we tolerate these people living among us.

For the second time:
Someone needs to notify Ms. Schussel that the Detroit News is the conservative paper in town. It's the Detroit Free Press that is the liberal lag. She needs to stop calling the paper the "Detroit Spews". They are on our side.

I have yet to see, hear about or even stumble across a "pro-Hezbollah" rally held in Dearborn. I did see an impromptu celebration when Sadaam's statue fell, I did see Muslims weeping on/after 9-11, I have spoken to many Dearborn Muslims that support our President and the WOT. I have spoken to many Dearborn Muslims that yearn for their home country's freedom.
Yes, there is most likely a sleeper cell in this population, however Dearborn is not the "hotbed" of terrorism that this author is making it out to be. To bad she didn't stop by my regular haunt and have a beer with all of us regular American folks! She would have seen a much different Dearborn.

Many people do not realize that the Arabs came to Detroit in the 1920s to work in the auto plants. There are many 3rd and 4th generation Arabs here. And not all of them are Muslims. The Chaldeans are Iraqi Christians - not muslims. Of coure, there are plenty enough Arab muslims here. I think that any of them with terrorist ties need to be deported or imprisoned - citizens or not.
Non-experts are often the most effective Patriots.

Dearborn is an "interesting" city. The east part is mostly Muslim. The west part is normal. Most of the normal people send their children to Divine Child (Catholic) Schools or other private schools.
Good to hear. But I am not holding my breath waiting for the denunciations of terror issued by Muslims living here.
Hopefully, sooner than my screen name says.......

Well, as Kaffir, who are we to object?
On our local talk radio morning show here in Houston, the host played a clip of an NPR show from Dearborn that had a bunch of Muslims chanting for Hezbollah and saying that the leader of Hezbollah is their leader. The clip also had them denouncing Bush.
