Comedienne SANDRA BERNHARDT, close friend of Madonna, has threatened to fight new security measures at airports imposed after a terrorist attack on planes flying from the UK to the US was averted. From yesterday (10AUG06), passengers flying from and to America have been banned from taking non-essential hand luggage onboard jets. But Bernhardt, who is scheduled to fly out of New York's JFK Airport today (11AUG06) is determined to break the rule. She tells the New York Daily News, "When I go to the airport and they try to take my MAC Plushglass away from me, it's going to be World War III!"
It's a MAN, baybeee!
Aw sh!t. I was going to post "no pictures please!"
Damn that is one, uh, strange looking "person"
How can she be a "Comedienne", she's not funny. She's just crude and mean-spirited.
I guess they couldn't make much of a newspaper story out of that, though. "Potty Mouthed Lesbian Has-Been Won't Give Up Lipstick".
Yes, her 15 minutes were up long ago and she is peeved.
I already posted on a couple other threads that it won't be long before we're subjected to having screeners look up our butts.
Full body-cavity searches for all.
Not long after the big attacks, "celebrities" would occasionally pop up saying, effectively: "The TSA ain't gonna mess with ME!"
Well, the TSA, bumbling as it was, pretty much messed with everybody who flew commercial.
As for Bernhardt herself, she's been kicking around LA area comedy clubs for years, but her last ongoing national TV gig (that I know of) was on "Roseanne" near the end of the series' run.
"Roseanne" jumped the shark when she started pushing her "it's OK to be gay" shtick," culminating in at least one lesbian kiss involving Bernhardt.
To this day, I will not watch one of those later episodes in re-runs, no matter how bored I am.
"Ten heave duty garbage bags would not be enough to hide that."
I'm thinking I'd need a ten heave garbage bag if I were in any close proximity to her. LOL
No one, I repeat - NO ONE, is that damn fugly.
Please spare us pics of the beast. I just ate.
They deal with bigger and badder people than her. She is like flatulence in the wind.
She went to an Ugly Contest once and they wouldn't let her in. They said "No Professionals".
I hope they tasered her and locked her up!
Love those lipstick lesbians
OMG!!! How scary is this???? EWWWW. Trans-gender/sex-changed?
Friggin' ugly hag.
In a way she is exposing the silly politically correctness in how "security" is conducted.
If security is really going to be affective, shouldn't they be screening young arabic men? Instead of a loudmouth celebrity?
Yikes! She looks like that "Lady Elaine" puppet on Mr. Rogers. No offense meant to the puppet.
Was she the one on Roseanne?
Good GRIEF.
That is HORRIBLE.
I can't say that I hate her. Frankly her and most of her friends aren't even on my radar.
However, I'm right there with you. 230 years ago the American people took on the biggest empire on the planet for a piddling tax on their tea. Today, we're a nation of sheep who've been trained by 'public education' to say "yes, massah' to any pronouncement by our government overlords.
People have no concept of what is a real risk to them, and what is not. Every single time you get in an automobile and cruise down the highway, you hand your life and the life of everyone travelling with you to a bunch of perfect strangers around you. You are much more likely to die in a car crash on the way to the airport than in an airplane incident of any cause, be it mechanical failure or terrorist, yet we've allowed ourselves to be convinced that just because we'd like to travel across the country without taking 3 days to do it, that we can be strip searched just because some moron working for the TSA decides to excercise his 'authority'.
The entire state of affairs disgusts me.
