She's obviously a nut, but some FReepers' support is unwavering simply because she has an (R) next to her name.

In my personal experience with underlings of a certain generation, I have found that they just plain don't like working for people. They think they have all the answers, yet they don't know what hard work is really like.
Sounds like a bunch of whiney brats.

The irony of someone identified as "Lunatic Fringe" calling someone else a "nut."

Ed Rollins is a "whiney brat"?
I think it's quite clear that Katherine Harris has marched off the deep end.

Actually, it is because of that picture on the horse, and because she stuck it to Gore.. :)

I don't know whether KH is a nut or not, but I'm willing to point out that some of these staffers are babies who can't handle being yelled at.

For a REAL kick, read the comments about this story at the link above. Looks like former staffers may be going at it with KH, or at least it appears that way.

Ah yes, the media cycle in its full fury. This hit piece was first published in the Palm Beach Post
Ex-Harris aides provide peek into campaign which feeds into the next outlet who recycles the news, thus keeping it alive.

I think it's great that she's so able to get under their skin!
Kind of like what Bush does to the Dems.
I wish I had that skill :)

I've found that those who want to work for local elections are definitely NOT those people.
Indeed, every candidate uses members of "a certain generation" and they don't have the problems in the same way.
And how do you dismiss those comments from the older, veteran election pros that have left her campaign?
Finally, if Harris is correct, that her problems are with crappy staff, what does that say about her ability to run an effective Senate office should she become elected? Voting for bills is only half of the job of a Senator; running a Senate office is incredibly important, and her inablity to run a campaign does not bode well.
To: RushCrush
Believe it, she's nutty as a pecan pie. You don't lose all that staff, over and over again, because she's a reasonable individual. Ed Rollins is no Boy Scout, and he couldn't stand her.

"R" or "D" this is probably typical of most of the representatives of the "Little People".

If this weren't such a tight election year when we were trying to hold onto Congress at the risk of losing a war if the other party wins, I honestly would hope Harris loses. She's the Hillary Clinton of our party and that's how the voters view her: as a bossy hag.
I only hope she wins because we can't let the Dems take control. In any other year, I'd otherwise throw her to the wolves.
