How about the southeast? I lived on B.A.F.B. for 4 years in the 60s. Have the gangs taken that over yet?

Man, they took over about the time you left. I made a wrong turn a week ago, and ended up down that way - said to the kids, "Keep your heads down. We're not stoppin' for nuthin," and I was only half-joking. Had the need arisen, I would have done so.

But, in all fairness, DC is not much worse than Takoma Park or Langley Park anymore. Criminal gangs of all colors and nationalities own the streets in lots of areas surrounding DC.
